Починаючи з дебютного оповідання Whittler, яке було опубліковане в журналі The Horror Show magazine в 1984 році, твори Мессі постійно потрапляли до антологій, збірок і журналів. Серед інших її романи і оповідання виходили в Simon & Schuster, Berkley, Pocket Books, Harper, Leisure, Pan, Crossroad Press та багатьох інших видавництвах та періодичних виданнях.

Нузо Оно – нігерійсько-британська письменниця ігбійського походження. Пережила громадянську війну 1967-1970 років. У тринадцятирічному віці над нею проводили акт екзорцизму. Вищу освіту здобула у Англії, зокрема, має диплом юриста і ступінь магістра письменства, здобуті в Університеті Уорвіка. Одна з перших і найвідоміших популяризаторок в літературі жахів африканських мотивів загалом і народу ігбо зокрема.

Джон Саул – американський письменник, автор трилерів та романів у жанрі горор. Творчий доробок Саула зараз становить 31 книжку, загальний наклад яких на 2013 рік складав більше 60 мільйонів примірників.
